The Aerospace Engineering Curriculum

The Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering’s (AE) undergraduate program is a unique combination of classroom, laboratory, and research experience that gives students knowledge and skills to meet and exceed the demands of today's workplace. The curriculum includes 132 credit-hours, culminating, senior year, with the completion of a capstone research project in one of three application areas: rotorcraft, fixed-wing, and spacecraft.

The core undergraduate curriculum is built on fundamental disciplines necessary to understand the design and performance of aerospace vehicles and their integrated subsystems. If you join us, you will also develop crucial professional and engineering skills that you will need when you enter the workforce. Co-ops, internships, international study, and research are just some of the ways you can tailor your undergraduate education at AE.
