The 6th Annual Aerospace Engineering Expo will take place on Wednesday, September 5th from 5-7pm in the Student Center Ballroom. This event showcases the various research activities going on throughout the labs within the School of Aerospace Engineering. There will also be informational booths sponsored by various AE student organizations and other student resources (e.g., Co-op, Intern, Study Abroad). The event is usually attended by over 200 undergraduate students and is a great opportunity for students to get involved with research.

There will be 2 lab tours 1) Aerospace Systems Design Lab (ASDL) and 2) the Experimental Aerodynamics Lab's John J. Harper Wind Tunnel.  One of the main highlights is the lab tours; in the past, students have commented that this is their favorite part of the AE Expo.

The AE Expo is sponsored by the following AE student organizations: School of Aerospace Engineering Student Advisory Council (SAESAC), American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), American Helicopter Society (AHS), and Sigma Gamma Tau (SGT) and the Mars Society.  Representatives from the Georgia Tech Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) and Division of Professional Practice (their office handles internships and coops) will also be available to answer questions.

This year's AE Expo promises to be our best yet.  There will also be free food.  We look forward to seeing you there!
