Mert Enis Berkman

I am a graduate research assistant at Georgia Tech, School of Aerospace Engineering.

The lovely lady with me is my wife, Minis.

I got my B.S. and M.S. degrees in Aeronautical Engineering at Middle East Technical University located at Ankara, Turkey. I also earned another M.S. in Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech .

I am a member of Computational Aerodynamics Group of Georgia Tech's Rotorcraft Center of Excellence .

Currently, I'm working on my Ph.D. on development of a Navier-Stokes/Full Potential/Free Wake method to predict the flow field around rotor blades and their wake.
I got some encouraging results for hovering rotors.

I have also made computational research on

  • flows around airfoils with oscillating trailing edge flaps
  • chemically reacting mixing flows
  • vibrational relation rates of nitrogen and carbon monooxide
  • application and development of a 3-D panel method
