Dr. Power will provide a brief introduction about herself, her career path, and then she will open it up to a Q&A session focused broadly on internships/jobs and career trajectories

Bio: Dr. Bronwyn Power is the Associate Director of Fan & Compression Systems in Pratt & Whitney. She previously served as a Senior Technical Specialist in Rolls-Royce on the fan system of one of the largest civil aircraft production engines. During her 19 years of industrial and academic experience, she has been granted 10 patents and has published numerous articles spanning component design, aerodynamics and aeroelasticity. Dr Power holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Aside from her work commitments she remains very active in service, in particular with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)

AE undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to come and meet with Dr. Power.
