Aviation Week also lauded the Daniel Guggenheim School in its recent survey.

GT's Aerospace Undergrad Engineering Program rated #2 in the nation -- with the Guggenheim Building in the background

U.S. News & World Report today announced that the Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering's undergraduate program has once again been ranked #2 in the nation - #1 among publicly-funded institutions.

They are not the only ones judging, either. Aviation Week announced on September 8 that Georgia Tech's Aerospace Engineering School ranked #1 in two categories: Hiring for critical skills (A&D companies call them preferred suppliers) and Where A&D companies invest in research and development

All of Georgia Tech's  engineering programs ranked in the top four for their respective fields of study, according to the 2021 U.S. News & World Report's Best Colleges survey.

"This is one indication of the breadth and depth of our undergraduate programs,” Steve McLaughlin, dean of the College of Engineering, said. “Since these rankings are based upon how our peers across the country perceive the quality of our programs, it is gratifying to know that they think very highly of Georgia Tech’s engineering programs. The rankings also demonstrate the commitment to excellence shown by our students, faculty and staff.”

The Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering's undergraduate program has been ranked in the top 5 in USN&WR's survey for more than a dozen years.

This is the eighth time the College of Engineering has placed fourth in the U.S. News rankings. Among public universities, Georgia Tech's engineering program ranks second behind the University of California, Berkeley.
