Georgia Aerospace Technology Forum
The Center of Innovation for Aerospace is hosting its Fall 2012 "Georgia Aerospace Technology Forum", showcasing research at Georgia Tech and the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI). The forum will be on 27 September 2012 from 4-7pm at the Technology Square Research Building at 85 Fifth Street, Atlanta, GA 30308.
There are a number of leading edge exhibits planned, including but not limited to:
- Autonomous Air Vehicles
- Helicopter Maneuvers
- Wind Energy
- Aircraft Icing
- Inflatable aerodynamic decelerators
- Autonomous Satellite Rendezvous and Docking
- Precision Machining for Aerospace
- Nano-composites in Aerospace materials
- Aero-acoustic Noise Reduction
- Improving the Aerospace Supply Chain
The researchers will be standing by with highly informative displays, ready to describe their research and the potential for application in aerospace. Please plan to attend to join in the informal discussions, refreshments and networking with the research teams.

Getting there:
Georgia Tech's Technology Square is at Fifth Street in downtown Atlanta.
From I-75/85 Souhtbound: Take the 14th St exit, cross the 'connector' and turn right at the traffic light for Spring Street. Proceed south down Spring Street. Just prior to reaching Fifth Street, take a right hand turn on Abercrombie Place (the north side of Tech Square) to enter the parking garage. Exit the parking garage on the Fifth level and follow the signs to the forum.
From I-75/85 Northbound: Take the Spring Street/10th Street Exit and take a right at the top of the ramp. Turn right at the Spring Street traffic light and proceed south down Spring Street. Just prior to reaching Fifth Street, take a right hand turn on Abercrombie Place (the north side of Tech Square) to enter theparking agarage. Exit the parking garage on the Fifth level and follow the signs to the Forum.
