The Aerothermodynamics Research & Technology Lab was established in Sepember 1993 under the direction of Professor Stephen M. Ruffin . Researchers at ARTLab develop and utilize Computational Fluid Dynamics tools to conduct research in the following areas -

Facilities

Researchers at ARTLab have access to computing time at the NSF Supercomputing Centers, the Super/Parallel Computers of the Georgia Tech High Performance Computing Consortium (SGI Origin 2000, IBM RS/6000, CRAY YMP Systems). Onsite computational work and flowfield visualisation is conducted primarily on Silicon Graphics Workstations and Power Macintoshes.
