Important Info for New Fall 2010 Graduate Students

ALL AE GRADUATE STUDENTS
- Georgia Tech Graduate Student Orientation will be held Tuesday, August 17 in the Alexander Memorial Coliseum. Doors open at 8:30 am.
- AE Orientation will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 9-11 am in Room 442 of the Montgomery Knight Building.
- Graduate Check-in and New GRA/GTA Processing will be held during the GradExpo on Wednesday, August 18 & Thursday, August 19.
- This is where you will set up your payroll paperwork, approval to work, and Social Security number. Visit the graduate admissions site or click here for details
- New Graduate Students may move into their residence halls beginning August 21. Those who wish to move in early may begin moving on August 16 at a cost of $65/night from August 16-August 20. Visit the housing website for details.
INTERNATIONAL AE GRADUATE STUDENTS ONLY
- If you need financial support, Financial Aid has information on student loans. Please visit http://www.finaid.gatech.edu/loans/ for further information on private loans.
- The Office of International Education will hold four Immigration Sessions.
- If you are a new F-1 or J-1 visa holder, it is MANDATORY that you attend ONE of these sessions.
